Demonstrations

We offer the service of customisable chocolate demonstrations accompanied by tastings for community groups and other organisations such as the Girls Brigade, Women’s Institute and School groups.
Try chocolate in the style the Aztecs and the Spanish drank it, watch as couverture is tempered then taste the chocolates that you have just seen made! A multisensory educational experience with an opportunity to purchase chocolates to take home afterwards.
"Thank you very much for coming to Haslingfield to tell us the story of the history of chocolate.
The subject of chocolate always excites people and judging by the attendance this evening was no exception. From feedback I have received everyone had a very good evening. Your presentation as you prepared and mixed chocolate beans, explaining the relationshop between chocolate and ancient history and with science, was very interesting and also entertaining. The samples you handed round for us to taste were delicious, and I certainly enjoyed the bar I purchased to take home..."

“I just wanted to thank you all for putting on such a wonderful ball last night. The food and drinks were delicious and luxurious (and the chocolate fruit skewers plus the chocolate tasting were a far superior choice to chocolate fountains!). Pembroke is a beautiful college anyway but it became magical last night. Most of my friends will be graduating this year so the Secret Gardens was probably our last ball all together and I really don't think I could have asked for a more perfect night. Thanks again for all your hard work.” – Amy

"Thank you for yesterday it was a great afternoon, one which I really enjoyed as did the children. They were much enthused by the idea of making their own eggs.
We had a super egg making day today, and in two's made a mould's worth of eggs., mixing white and milk chocolate to make interesting patterns. We also painted white chocolate in the way you showed us, so we did learn a lot too. Many thanks."
